Why should we encourage children to engage with nature?

CHILDREN DON'T REMEMBER THEIR BEST DAY OF TELEVISION!

"When children come into contact with nature, they reveal their true strength."                  Maria Montessori

"We cannot protect something we do not love, we cannot love what we do not know, and we cannot know what we do  not see." Richard Louv

"There is no description, no image in any book capable of replacing the sight of real trees, and all the life to be found around them in real forests." Maria Montessori

What our customers say

Abigail (children aged 3 and 5)

"My boys were so excited when I said they had a parcel! Just what we needed during lock down! So impressed!! Loads of fantastic things to do & ideas to spark their imagination. Totally recommend nature boxes.. Can not wait to see what the coming months bring & the changes in seasons.. Thank you so much."

Poppy (children age 1 and 3)

"Mr daughter (and me) were very excited when the nature box arrived. We opened it together and the first thing my daughter wanted to do was planting. She loved watching the compost pots grow and asking lots of questions about how and why things happen. The quality of all the items in the box was amazing, it has endless activities which are still on going now. Really recommend, such lovely and exciting activities to do with your little ones."

Karon (two grandsons)

"I ordered the sibling subscription box as a surprise for my grandsons. They have just received it and absolutely love it"

Our boxes also make great gifts!

Are you stuck for a gift? We also have letterbox gifts suitable for children 2 to 8 years although every child is different. Younger children are likely to need more support but the aim of our boxes is to bring families closer to explore and learn together.
